Universal Xtension Recorder 2.0 can record phone calls from any IP or Digital business telephone at the handset (curly cord) to your PC. We do recommend our Digital Xtension Recorder for all compatible PBX's.

There are many low-cost PC sound card based units for recording phone calls on the market. There are many problems associated with using PC Sound cards to record phone calls on a PC. Quality varies based on whose sound card you use. It also requires a lot more effort to adjust the phone call recorder to match all possible sound cards.
The Universal Xtension Recorder 2.0 is not one of them. Recording phone calls directly to your PC hard drive via the Universal Serial Bus. This is the latest technology in computer standards. The Universal Xtension Recorder has the same circuitry that is used in telephony boards provided by server based call recording systems. We can use either voltage sense or voice activitation to trigger call recording.
